The challenge to the members of the medical profession today is not to be less immoral but to be aware of their rational fields – and this can best be achieved by their using the Values Exchange. I can’t think of any other way that stands a chance of succeeding, and I admit that the Values Exchange is currently a long-shot too.
Paradigm Y technology is emerging – the answer is not education in ethics, nor even education in the philosophy of health – the answer is to incorporate philosophy concretely and permanently into practice. Then the world will change.
